Frequently asked questions
It starts with a free consultation call. From there, you pick one of two paths: Website Ownership ($1,995 upfront for up to 5 pages, 2 rounds of revisions, and a contact form, plus an optional $149/mo Care plan with up to 30 minutes of content updates a month), or the Website Subscription ($199 setup, then $229/mo with a 12-month minimum, which bundles the same build scope, hosting, and up to 60 minutes of updates a month — with ownership of the site transferring after your first 12 paid months or a completed early buyout).
Most projects launch within 2 to 3 weeks from the initial kickoff call. Design, coding, copy, and optimization are all handled internally, so things move quickly without dragging you through endless meetings.
Depends on the plan. With Website Ownership, ownership of the custom website transfers after full payment; third-party components remain subject to their own licenses. The optional $149/mo Care plan is month-to-month and can be cancelled with 30 days' written notice before your next renewal date.
With the Website Subscription, Websteadly retains ownership of the custom code during your 12-month minimum term. You always own your own domain, your supplied content, and your business data, regardless of plan. After 12 paid months, or after completing an early buyout, ownership of the custom website transfers to you. From there you can keep going at $229/mo with the higher update allowance, switch down to the $149/mo Care plan, or take the site elsewhere.
If you'd like to own the site before your 12 months are up, an early buyout is available: the remaining balance of your first-year commitment ($229 × the unpaid months remaining out of 12 — the $199 setup fee isn't part of this calculation, and monthly fees already paid count toward those 12 payments). Once that's settled, the custom website transfers to you.
Full cancellation terms, including what happens if you cancel before your 12 months are complete without a buyout, will be spelled out in writing before you sign anything.

Everything needed to keep your website fast, current, and reliable: hosting on Vercel, SSL certificates, and full version history so any change can be rolled back. The Ownership Care plan includes up to 30 minutes of minor content updates a month (photos, text, pricing, promotions); the Website Subscription includes up to 60 minutes a month. Unused time doesn't roll over. Extra work beyond that — including new pages, redesigns, and integrations — is quoted or billed at $100/hr, only with your approval.
Absolutely. Every indexed page gets strict URL mapping and a 301 redirect. In most cases, clean semantic code and a drastic speed improvement raises search rankings rather than hurting them.
Yes. DNS records can be managed directly, or your professional email (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) can be migrated to keep deliverability seamless with zero lost messages.
Send a message with the updates you need. Most minor updates, like adding a photo, adjusting prices, or swapping contact info, are turned around quickly.
You provide the copy and photos for your site — a short content questionnaire during kickoff makes it easy to organize. If you'd like Websteadly to write your website copy for you, that's available as an add-on, quoted separately.
Yes. Most local service searches now happen on mobile, so every site is tested across iOS and Android viewports for clean typography, easy tap-to-call buttons, and fast-loading forms.
A high-resolution logo integrates smoothly into your new design. Without one, or with a blurry current graphic, a crisp, modern vector brandmark can be designed for your business.
